![]() But according to the above 3-4 was the proper selection to make it work. For me, it was intuitive to select stereo pairs 1-2. The "Stereo Pair" in Garritan was already set to 1-2. Or correctly assigning ASIO channels in your audio application. You can change this by either disabling the SPDIF output in the ASIO4ALL control panel But there is no sound Drivers for High Definition Audio devices have a habit of listing SPDIF outputs before the analog ones.Īs a consequence, the first two or more ASIO channels will be routed to SPDIF, if you use the defaultĬonfiguration. (Vista) The meters are moving, everything looks o.k. Sound does indeed come out, but the notes are too delayed as I play them. I actually changed the TP Preferences to use my PC's native system (sound card.) TruePianos warns me that the notes will be delayed. Interesting that all the programs "know" to use 3-4, except for this fancy software -as it uses ASIO4all. If I'm running another program such is Media Player or a game that uses the sound system "3-4" is not available in the Preferences/Stereo Pair pull-down input box. BTW - Garritan uses the sound system exclusively. If I select "3-4" from this pull-down box, then sound comes out just fine. The standard implicit models are described below. The Garritan Preferences dialog box has a "Stereo Pairs" option. Thanks in advance for your help - Chuck A. How can I make this work with TruePianos? I can change this (I can select audio outputs "3-4") with Garritan Steinway "Preferences" and hear it, this virtual piano, out of the the stereo Headphones 3.5mm jack. TP recognizes my Roland Fantom X8 as the MIDI input because the keys are animated on the TruePiano's splash screen's piano picture, when I play on my instrument's keyboard. I'm running the stand-alone version of TruePianos. I've installed TruePianos and the 4 modules. I'm hoping that some kind soul out there can help me. I know this is a TruePianos question, but I just purchased the $79.00 "Piano" upgrade for SONAR 8.5 owners.
